Networking

What is Networking? Networking is the combination of two or more computers together for the purpose of sharing the informations together or sharing data.
 Networks are built in the mix of computer hardware and computer software. Networks can be categorized in different ways  such as the geographical areas it spans
Local Area Network for example is a small area network like a small room it spans through a room or two
Wide Area Network is a networking that spans through states,cities and even countries
 The Internet is the world most greatest WAN.
 
NETWORK DESIGN
Network designs differs in their design , the two types of high level network design are called CLIENT SERVER and PEER-TO-PEER
CLIENT SERVER : This stores emails,web pages,files and applications
PEER TO PEER : This conversely all the computers supports same computer functions
the Client servers mostly common at work place while the PEER TO PEER common at homes

Network Topology
 Network topology is the layout or structure from the point of data flow, In the bus network all the computers communicate and share ,while star network all data flows through one centralized device
common types of network topologies are bus,star ,ring and mesh

Network Protocols  : this is the communication language used by computers devices
the most popular network protocol is the TCP/IP
 This the most network protocol  found in homes and in work places
